Plant Hire
We operate a Plant Hire Service, based on modern equipment with rigorous attention to safety & reliability, offering customers cost-effective peace of mind. The portfolio of available equipment includes eight excavators capacities from just 1.5 to 50 ton. All of the larger excavators (20 ton and above) may also be fitted with hydraulic rock breakers.
Other plant includes two A25D and 1 A40D Volvo articulated dump trucks, a Komatsu WA500 and a Volvo 220 loading shovel are also available for hire.

Tarmac & Asphalt
A.S. Ballantine Ltd supply and lay quality Asphalt & Tarmac products. A leader in asphalt paving, pavement construction and maintenance; your GO TO supplier of asphalt products and materials for surfacing and maintenance of road networks with high standard of engineering expertise; road technology, product durability, quality and technical service.

On the Spot Concrete
Our Cementech machine’s uniquely precise dispensing system means these mixers are accurate to within ±1% of volume delivered and if the customer has over – ordered, the mixer can be shut off without any wasted concrete. The mix can be changed during the run to suit customer specifications precisely so, if two different mixes are required, there is no need to return to the batching plant.
In other words, there are no part loads, no waste, no time limits, just precise, profitable productivity – a premium service that customers appreciate. This relatively new service offered by A.S. Ballantine Ltd. with their new concrete division “On The Spot Concrete”.

Crushing & Screening
We operate a mobile Contract Crushing Service, meaning that we can move our crusher to your site for convenience.
