Hello and welcome to the Academy for International Science and Research (AISR), a private STEM school located in Letterkenny, Ireland. AISR is fully UK accredited and ISO 9001:2015 compliant.

​AISR has been established in response to a clear market need to address the decline in the interest, enjoyment and uptake of science, technology, engineering and maths subjects among students, particularly at school leaver age. AISR is also committed to the teaching of the broader STEM areas, including business, administration, careers, digital media and teaching and lecturing.

​At AISR, it’s our belief STEM is of immense importance to modern society. Expertise in this area is necessary to drive our economic ambitions, support innovation and provide the foundation for future prosperity.

The truth is, many pupils are leaving school believing they have heavily invested in their education while in fact, in the very near future, they will be ill prepared to meet the demands of a dynamic and rapidly changing jobs market.

In recent years jobs in STEM fields have grown three times faster than jobs in non-STEM fields, but without an influx of graduates in these areas, the world will not have enough workers to fill these positions.​

In response, AISR launched to offer local, national and global programs and initiatives that will help plug the skills gap and putting forward a persuasive case to students about the multiple benefits associated with studying STEM. Our courses link

It is reaching out to school leavers, international students and life-long learners, encouraging them to study STEM in new and innovative ways and through effective partnership working opening up exciting career opportunities and new entry points to industry, commerce and business.

Our new Letterkenny campus offers local students vocational training to the highest standards (technical professional level) in areas such as science, mathematics, IT photography and hospitality.

It also provides the base from which we export our high quality local educational products and services to benefit developing countries across the world including India, Burma and Nigeria.

Ireland Campus
AISR Ireland Campus is located in CoLab, based on the Letterkenny campus at the Letterkenny Institute of Technology.

The CoLab building is equipped with the most modern technology available, with meeting and conference rooms offering state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and high spec. laboratories.

Letterkenny has great transport links so you will find it easy to get here and to find your way around town, whether by car, bus, taxi or on foot.

Letterkenny (Irish: Leitir Ceanainn, meaning "hillside of the O'Cannons"), nicknamed "the Cathedral Town", is the largest and most populous town in County Donegal, Ireland. It lies on the River Swilly in east Donegal.
