Our Service to you...
Cavity Trays
Intermediate cavity trays acts as a damp proof course preventing water from penetrating the outer cavity wall and leading to internal dampness.
The trays come as pre-formed to eliminate the onsite difficulty inherent in conventional methods. Trays have a factory fitted flashing to the polypropylene tray. Cavity trays come in left and right handed format. The trays also allow you to adjust to suit the cavity walls width.
Catchment Tray
The catchment tray is the first tray that would be built in. Also known as the STARTER TRAY.
It is similar to the standard cavity tray but has an extra stop end to discharge the water through a weep vent.
If the gable where the trays are to be inserted is very long we would sometimes recommend a second catchment tray to offset the chance of water building up. Particularly in the case of 100mm stone work.
Ridge Tray
The Ridge Tray straddles the ridge and prevents water from penetrating from the outer cavity wall to the inner cavity wall.
It does this by the fact that it has open ends thus allowing the water to be discharged to the left or the right.
The tray is manufactured from polypropylene and has lead flashing attached.
Horizontal Tray
Horizontal Trays are used to provide protection to the building on lean-to roofs or where the use of a cavity tray cannot be used, as there is no pitch roof.
A Lisnastrain cavity tray/horizontal tray can be manufactured to suit any length. Each tray will be made up to order. All trays come with stop ends fitted.
These ends have an interlocking joint which allow for longer runs of horizontal trays. Trays can be manufactured with any size of flashing that is required.
Horizontal trays are suited to join up with internal and external angles. Curved horizontal trays can also be manufactured in an all leaded format.
