Radio Licensing
Airphone Communications are authorised by Ofcom to assist with all aspects of licensing. We can also assist in applying for frequencies. We take the hassle out of applications and deal with all payments and paperwork, generally speeding up the process of your application. We can also manage your radio license over the years making sure that it never lapses and leaves you exposed.

In addition, if you need to be up and running in a hurry, we can supply your new equipment on a “parking” channel for up to 3 months, pending your licence approval.

There is no charge for this, or re-programming your equipment once your Licence has been approved, subject to site visit or carriage charges.

Systems Consulting
Airphone were invited to design and install a secure radio communications system for the June 2013 G8 Summit in Fermanagh. The digital radio system provided guaranteed coverage for over 450 private staff protecting VIP’s throughout the 17 kilometre security perimeter. Since then we have also designed and installed systems for The NATO Summit Wales 2014 and most recently the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2018 (CHOGM) in London.

Two Way Radio Contracts
It is vital to get two-way radio equipment serviced annually to ensure it delivers performance to the best standards. We offer both preventative and reactive maintenance contracts. Our highly qualified engineers are fully trained and widely experienced in the repair and service of most makes of two-way radio equipment, including the newest digital & IP radio equipment.

Based in Belfast, our purpose equipped premises enables us to provide the best possible service of your existing equipment; we hold a wide range of spare parts to enable a speedy resolution to any problems you may be experiencing.

Service, Repair & Calibration
A quotation can be provided before repair if required, and with a delivery and collection service available having your radio equipment repaired has never been easier.

We can return ATEX equipment to the manufacturer for a service repair. It is important to do this to validate the ATEX standard. A certificate is provided from the manufacturer stating the serial number as proof of ATEX standard repair.

We operate within a well organised and fully stocked workshop environment with test equipment calibrated and certified to meet national measurement standards.
