Appeal For Missing Man Renewed

The appeal for a man who has been missing for over a month has today been renewed as fears for his safety increase.

Gardai are renewing their appeal for Stephen O'Meara who was last seen on Thursday the 6th August this year in Wicklow Town.

In their renewed appeal the Gardai are asking that Farmers and Park Rangers pay particular attention to checking outbuildings located on their lands in the general Wicklow area.

The Gardai in Wicklow are still seeking the public's help to trace the whereabouts of Stephen O'Meara, who is 26 years old, from Rosehill, Wicklow.

A Gardai spokesperson said they were very concerned for his safety.

Stephen was last seen wearing black Manchester United tracksuit bottoms, dark grey tracksuit top, white or navy Nike t-shirt with a red line across the chest. He was also wearing black and white Nike Air Max runners and a thick gold chain.

He has sandy receding hair, is 6' 2" in height, and is of an athletic build.

Anyone with information should contact Wicklow Garda Station in confidence on 0404-60140 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
