Two Dead In Separate Collisions
Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days.
In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital. The scene was examined by forensic collision investigators and the road is open to traffic.
Gardaí in Tallaght are investigating the circumstances of the fatal collision, which occurred at approximately 4.55pm yesterday at Tree Park Road Tallaght, Dublin.
Meanwhile, gardaí in Thomastown are also investigating another fatal collision, which occurred on the R700 at Barronsland, Bannetsbridge, County Kilkenny on Wednesday.
At approximately 3.30pm, a woman aged 21 was seriously injured when the vehicle she was driving collided with a wall. She was taken to St. Lukes Hospital Kilkenny and later passed away.
Forensic Collision Investigators attended the scene and the road has since re-opened.

A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Two men have been killed in separate traffic collisions on Tuesday. Gardaí at Bundoran are investigating the first collision that occurred on Main Street Bundoran at approximately 12.10am in the early hours of Tuesday morning. In the incident an 18-year-old pedestrian was killed when he was struck by an articulated lorry.

Witness Appeal Following Death Of A Man In Co Monaghan
Gardaí have appeal for witnesses following the death of a man in County Monaghan. The body of the man, believed to be aged in his 80s, was discovered on the side of the road at Carnaveigh, Castleblaney at 4pm on Wednesday, 11 October. A blue Opel Corsa was found crashed nearby. The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was not injured.

A man has died after his car collided into a wall in Co Meath. The incident happened at around 4:55pm at Clownstown on the Dunshauhlin to Navan road yesterday, 07 April. The victim, aged in his 30's, was seriously injured and taken to Navan General Hospital. However, he was later pronounced dead.
