Man Arrested Over Roscommon Device
A man has been arrested in connection with the detenation of an explosive device in Roscommon.
Gardaí in Roscommon investigating the improvised explosive device, which caused damage to a business premise at Castle Street, Roscommon on Sunday, arrested a male in his 30's yesterday evening.
The male was arrested at approx 6pm in the Kildare region. The man is currently being detained under the Offences Against State Act in Roscommon Garda Station.
Meanwhile, Gardaí are continuing to detain a 36-year-old man after the discovery and seizure of three handguns and drug mixing paraphernalia in Dolphins Barn yesterday.
Detectives believe the premises were being used to store firearms and mix cocaine for a south city criminal gang.
Officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit and the Organised Crime Unit took part in the raid. A quantity of ecstasy tablets was also recovered.
It is understood the man who was arrested has been the target of the Garda National Drugs Unit for some time.

Woman Arrested Following Major Drug Seizure In Co Roscommon
A woman has been arrested in connection with a large scale drug seizure in Co Roscommon. During a search operation at a house in the Lanesborough area, drugs worth approximately €100,000 were seized. The seizure included around 40 cannabis plants worth around €32,000, cannabis herb worth around €75,000 and €300 worth of cocaine.

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Pair Arrested After Drugs & Drone Seized In Roscommon
Gardaí have arrested two people after disrupting a potential attempt to get drugs into a prison in Castlerea, County Roscommon. Officers stopped and searched a vehicle at Harristown, which is adjacent to the prison, at around 11am on Thursday morning, 11 April.
