Software Firm Brings 150 Jobs To Dublin
Some 150 jobs are to be created in Dublin by the company that developed software for the Lansdowne Rd Aviva Stadium.
Bentley Systems, who develops and provides software for infrastructural projects such as roads, hospitals, apartments and public buildings, will be opening an international shared services, sales and marketing centre in Dublin.
The company is recruiting staff for multilingual finance roles, sales and marketing, technical support, product release engineers and software industry professionals.
The jobs will be based at the Bentley Systems office on Harcourt Street in Dublin.
Tánaiste Mary Coughlan described the announcement as a “testament to the strength” of the information and communications technology sector in the country.
Bentley’s chief financial officer, David Hollister, said the decision to locate the offices in Dublin was based “on Ireland’s highly talented pool of multilingual professionals encompassing all of the key skill sets that we require for our international operations”.
“The culture of innovation that exists in Ireland assured us that we would benefit greatly by locating offices here,” he added.
