Former Primate Buried
Cardinal Daly - who died last week - is to be buried today with his own nephew Fr Brian Daly as concelebrate at the Mass, while the mourners will be led by other family members including his brother and sister, two sisters-in-law and nephews and nieces.
The funeral of the former Catholic Primate of All-Ireland, is to be held in Armagh where his remains have been lying in state in St Patrick's Cathedral ahead of the Requiem Mass celebrated by his successor, Cardinal Sean Brady.
The 92-year-old died on New Year's Eve, three days after being brought to Belfast City Hospital's coronary unit. Cardinal Brady will be Pope Benedict's representative at the service and will read a message of sympathy from him.

Cardinal Seán Brady Retires
The Vatican has formally accepted the resignation of Cardinal Seán Brady, Archbishop of Armagh and leader of the Catholic Church in Ireland. Pope Francis has accepted the Cardinal's retirement as Primate of all Ireland upon his 75th birthday, in accordance with Canon Law.

Cardinal Seán Brady is facing further calls for his resignation from political leaders after he failed to pass on information about paedophile priest Brendan Smyth. It follows allegations made in a BBC This World documentary. Tanaiste Eamonn Gilmore is also putting pressure for the Cardinal to stand down.
