Man Killed In Tralee Crash
A man has died after a road traffic collision in Tralee yesterday evening.
Gardai in Tralee are investigating the circumstances of the fatal road traffic collision, which occurred on the Tralee to Ardfert Road yesterday evening at around 6.00pm.
The collision took place in Clogerbrien, approximately three miles, from Tralee. Two cars were involved in the collision and a 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was removed to Tralee General Hospital while another youth who was also in the car was taken to Tralee General Hospital where his injuries are described as serious. The occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.
Gardai in Tralee are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them on 066 7102300 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
The road remains closed while a Forensic collision investigation is being carried out.

John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. 52-Year-Old Man Killed In Single Vehicle Collision
A 52-year-old man has died following a single vehicle collision in Co Kerry. The collision occurred on the N86 between Ballintaggart and Dingle at approximately 3.20pm on Wednesday, 10 August. The man was injured when the minibus he was driving left the road and struck a ditch.

Two Dead In Separate Collisions
Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days. In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital.

In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

Man Dies In Co Kerry Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Kerry. It occurred at Dunrine at around 11.45pm last night. The victim, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene, and was the only occupant of the car. A post-mortem is to be carried out at Tralee General Hospital.
