Man Held Over Drugs And Weapon Find
A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with a drug and weapon find in inner city Dublin.
The arrest took place on Tuesday at around 5pm, as part of an ongoing operation into the sale and supply of drugs in the south inner city area of Dublin.
During the operation Gardaí in Kevin Street Garda Station searched a house on McCarthy's Terrace and seized a cannabis plant, cultivation equipment, and cannabis herb with a street value of approximately €5,000, subject to forensic analysis. Gardaí say a stun gun was also recovered.
The male in his late 20s was arrested and is currently detained at Kevin Street Garda Station under the Drug Trafficking Act.
A follow-up search was conducted at New Street on Wednesday and a number of rounds of ammunition were recovered.
A male in his early 50s was arrested and is currently detained at Kevin Street Garda Station also under the Drug Trafficking Act.

Two Arrested Following Finglas Drug Find
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a heroin seizure in Dublin on Monday. Officers from Garda Drugs Unit carried out a planned search at a house in Ratoath Drive, Finglas, Dublin 11. During the search heroin worth an estimated street value of €40,000 was seized.

Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.
