Bank Robbers Threaten Staff
Two men robbed the Ulster Bank in Dublin's Dame Street this morning, escaping with an undisclosed sum of money.
Gardaí in Pearse Street are investigating the robbery, which occurred shortly after 10am.
They said that two men entered the premises with a metal bar and threatened staff, grabbed the cash and then escaped on foot and left the area in a waiting car.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Men Arrested In Connection With Togher Drug Seizures
Two men have been arrested in connection with a heroin seizure in Togher. As part of an ongoing intelligence led operation conducted by the Cork City Divisional Drug Unit into drug dealing activities in the Cork area two men, aged 33 and 35, were stopped and searched. During the search, heroin worth an approximate street value of €8,000 was seized.

Gardaí in Dublin have issued an appeal for information following a robbery on Mount Street Upper earlier this week. On 13 August 2018 at approximately 6.50pm a man, aged in his 50s, got out of his car on Mount Street Upper and walked towards the junction of Mount Street and Fitzwilliam Street Lower junction.

Dept For Arts To 'Carefully Study' High Street Judgement On Moore Street
The Department for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht have said that they will "carefully study" the High Court judgement on Moore Street. Minister Heather Humphreys said: "This was a complex case and the judgement, which runs to more than 400 pages, needs to be studied in detail.

Arrests As Waxwork Heads Stolen From Museum
Gardaí have arrested two people on suspicion of stealing statues from the Wax Museum in Dublin. Three heads disappeared from the Westmoreland Street attraction on Wednesday 21 August. Two were later recovered by staff with assistance from members of the public, while the third was seized when gardaí stopped a man and a woman nearby.
