Murder Probe Underway Over Mountain Body
A murder investigation has been launched as Gardaí today identified the body of the man found on a mountain in Dublin.
After Monday's post mortem and a consultation with families with missing relatives Gardai have identified the remains as that of 26-year-old, Kenneth Fetherstone who was reported missing in September 2009.
Kenneth was found on Military Road, Rathfarnham, on Sunday.
Gardaí have established that Kenneth left his apartment at the Tallaght Cross Hotel, Tallaght, Dublin 24 shortly before 9.00am on September 22 last. The last known sighting of Kenneth was at Landy’s Industrial Estate, Knocklyon, Dublin 16.
Kenneth was driving a red Honda Civic 93 D 44862 when he went missing and the car was located near Gorey, Co Wexford in a lay-by on the N11, on September 26.
Gardaí are making a number of appeals to the public for information.
Firstly they would like anyone who was in the area of Landy’s Industrial Estate, in Knocklyon on or around the September 22 to contact them.
Secondly Gardaí would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area of Perrymount near Gorey, on or about the September 26 and who might have seen anything unusual.
Finally Gardaí investigating the murder of Kenneth Fetherston would like anyone that may have noticed anything unusual in the Military Road area of Rathfarnham over the last number of months, to contact the incident room at Tallaght Garda Station on 01 6666056.

Body Believed To Be Missing Dundalk Man
A body found in Dundalk is believed to that of Kenneth Fagan, who has been missing since Wednesday 6th August. Gardaí say that a search team found the body in the Lennon Melia area of Dundalk town on Tuesday evening. A postmortem will be carried out today at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Man Arrested In Michael Devoy Murder Investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Michael Devoy in January this year have arrested a man in his early 20s. A routine garda patrol in the Bohernabreena area of Tallaght, found the body of Mr Devoy on 18 January. He had been shot dead. Garda have confirmed they have arrested a man in his early 20s in connection with the murder.

Four Girls In Hospital After Aerosol Explosion
Garda are investigating the circumstances surrounding four girls ending up in hospital after an aerosol exploded in a house in Drogheda on Sunday. The girls are being treated in hospital, two in Crumlin's children's hospital and two in Tallaght, following the incident. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Pamela Kenny have confirmed they have found a body. Ms Kenny, 52, was last seen in Delwood, Castleknock, on Monday (2 March) at around 10.30am. An appeal was launched into her whereabouts. Gardaí have since confirmed the body is that of Ms Kenny.
