Boy Dies In Tragic Leitrim Crash
A nine-year-old boy has been killed in a road crash in County Leitrim this morning.
Gardaí have launched an investigating into the fatal collision which occurred at Donaghbeg on the N16 between Manorhamilton and Glenfarne, County Leitrim at approximately 9.15am this morning.
The collision involved a lorry and a car. The young boy was the passenger of the car was fatally injured.
The female driver of the car, who is in her 40s, was taken to Sligo General Hospital, where she is being treated for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The male driver of the lorry who is in his mid 30s was not seriously injured.
The N16 road is currently closed for a Garda technical examination between Manorhamilton and Glenfarne. Traffic diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Gardaí in Manorhamilton on 071-9820620, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.

Specially Adapted Car Stolen In Lucan Recovered
A specially adapted car stolen in Lucan, Dublin, on Monday 25 April, has been recovered. Gardaí issued an appeal for information on Tuesday after the black Audi A6 was stolen from the owners driveway. It is understood no damage was caused the car when garda recovered it. Garda thanked the public for their help.

Man Dies In Shooting Incident
A 21-year-old man who was shot in Bunratty, Co Clare, died yesterday in hospital. Two men are still being questioned over the attack at the Bunratty Castle Hotel car park, and are being detained at Mayfield and Gurranabraher Garda Stations.

Gardaí in Ennis have issued an appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision in Co Clare. Shortly after 7pm on Thursday 14 November Gardaí and emergency services attended at the scene of a collision involving a car and pedestrian. The collision occurred on the N68 at Darragh, on the main Ennis to Kilrush road.

At approximately 9am this morning, Wednesday 25th April 2018, a male driver in his 50s and only occupant of a car was fatally injured when the car he was driving struck a stationary trailer.
