Arrests Follow Over Drug Haul
Two men have been arrested in Navan in connection with a drug seizure.
Gardai revealed this morning they arrested two males and seized ecstasy tablets after a stop and search in the County.
Leading up to the arrests, Gardai stopped a car on the Inner Relief Road, Navan at approximately 5.45pm and seized a quantity of ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of up to € 200,000, subject to analysis.
The two male occupants in their 20’s were arrested at the scene and are currently detained at Kells Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

A total of 45 people have been arrested in the past 48 hours in Gardaí a crackdown on the sale and supply of heroin and “crack” cocaine in the Dublin region. The operation, which involved Garda drug units from Kevin Street, Pearse Street and Store Street stations, resulted in 150 charges being brought, according to Gardaí this morning.

Four Arrests After Cork Drug Raids
Four men are being held for questioning by Gardaí in Cork after two drug seizures in the county. Drug squad detectives seized an estimated €180,000 worth of heroin, ecstasy and cannabis after stopping a car at Shanakiel in the north side of the city, yesterday afternoon.

Three Questioned In Latest Drug Find
Three men are being questioned after gardai seized heroin worth approximately €100,000 euro in Cork yesterday. Officers discovered the 0.5kg of heroin at a house in Brooklodge, Glanmuire, at around 16.45. The men, who are in their 20's, were taken to Cobh Garda Station yesterday evening for questioning.

Drug Seizure Leads to Three Arrests
Gardaí in Dublin have arrested three people following a significant heroin seizure in the west of the city on Tuesday night. Five kilos of the drug with a potential street value of around €1m were seized during a raid on a premises in the Westbourne Green area of Clondalkin just after 10pm.
