Saville Inquiry Published
The lawyers for the families of those killed and injured on Bloody Sunday and those representing the soldiers involved are this morning studying Lord Saville's report on the events.
The shootings in Derry were among the most controversial of all the bloody events in the Northern Ireland's decades of conflict.
Thirteen people died in 1972 when British soldiers opened fire on civil rights marchers in Londonderry.
This morning's preview comes just hours ahead of the PM's statement in the House of Commons and full publication at the same time. The Saville Report cost £195m and took 12 years to complete. See: Reg Slams Inquiry

Bloody Sunday Report Imminent
The North's British Secretary has said he hopes to be in a position to publish Lord Saville's report into Bloody Sunday within days of receiving it. The families had feared that the publication of the 5,000-page report, which took 12 years and cost £200m, could be delayed until the forthcoming general election was over.

International Awards Celebrated At UTV
UTV has taken two top awards in a major TV and film awards event that took place yesterday as part of an international broadcasters event that is held annually in the USA. The Irish Republic's State broadcaster, RTÉ, has also achieved a Finalist Certificate for the Raw mini series.

Soldier Questioned Over Gangland Guns
An Irish army soldier has been arrested and questioned by gardai on suspicion of handling illegal firearms. The soldier, who comes from Dublin, was arrested on Tuesday. He has since been taken into military custody for being absent without leave for nearly two months.

Appeal For Witnesses To Early Morning Shooting In Dublin
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a shooting in Dublin this morning. According to garda a man was shot just after 9am on Thursday morning on Clonard Street. The victim has been taken to hospital but no details of his condition have been released. The scene of the shooting has been sealed off pending a technical examination.
