Daíl Ministers Recall Air India Bombing
Government representatives from Ireland, India and Canada will join relatives and friends of the victims of the Air India crash in West Cork today.
Today is the 25th anniversary of the incident, when a total of 329 people died after a bomb exploded on board the flight from Montreal to London.
The plane was 180 miles southwest of Ireland when the explosion occurred.
It is expected that Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper will apologise for his country's failings in the lead-up to the attack and the subsequent investigation.
The plane was carrying mostly Canadians of Indian descent.
Speaking at the commemoration, Daíl Minister Michéal Martin said: "There can be no justification for the murder of innocents in pursuit of any political end.
"All who have been touched by the evil and destruction inflicted by callous terrorism utterly condemn these brutal, senseless, acts."
Mr Martin added that it was vitally important all democratic nations work together to combat terrorism in all its forms.

China Vice President To Leave Ireland Today
China's Vice President Xi Jinping will end his visit to Ireland today. Irish President Michael D Higgins has met with him at Áras an Uachtaráin. Trade agreements have been signed with China which will create jobs and boost investment in Ireland. Taoiseach Enda Kenny was also invited by Mr Xi to visit China during a dinner in Dublin Castle.

New British-Irish Visa Scheme Reduces Restrictions On Visitors
Visitors from China and India will be able to travel freely between the UK and Republic of Ireland under a new British-Irish Visa scheme. It is understood that the scheme is the result of collaboration and an effort to cut down on the level of bureaucracy and restriction visitors face.

Dublin Airport's Main Runway Remains Closed After Incident
Dublin airport's main runway is still closed after the nose-wheel of a small plane collapsed. The incident occurred at around 8.40am. The crew on-board the Metroliner craft were not injured in the incident and the plane has not been removed from the runway.
