Witness Appeal Over Serious Crash In Dublin

An appeal has been launched into a serious road traffic accident, which occurred in the Templeogue area of Dublin on Sunday.

Gardai at Terenure Garda Station said this morning they are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the serious road traffic collision, which took place on Templeogue Road, close to Bushy Public Park are of Dublin on Sunday afternoon.

A Gardaí spokesman said that at approximately 1.50pm two vehicles collided, a white-coloured Toyota Hi ace and a dark-grey coloured 'moped' motorcycle resulting in the motorcyclist sustaining serious injuries and being taken to Tallaght Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Gardai are appealing for the assistance of members of the public that may have been on the Templeogue Road between the hours on 1.40pm and 2.05pm who may have noticed a white Toyota Hiace heading outbound in the direction of Templeogue Village from Terenure Village.

Meanwhile, Gardai are also renewing their appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Clane Village on Saturday.

At approximately 10.45am a female pedestrian, aged in her 80s, was seriously injured when she was struck by an articulated lorry. The woman was taken by Ambulance to Naas General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Man Released Over Attack On Pensioner
Gardai have released a man following an assault on a pensioner in Limerick. The 89-year-old woman was attacked outside her house on Rossbrien Road on Sunday night. The man made off with the woman's handbag which contained a small sum of money. The woman sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.

Appeal Issued Over Serious Road Accident
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following a road traffic collision at Annesley Bridge Road, Dublin 3. A woman in her 20s was hit by a car at Annesley Bridge Road shortly before 06:45am on Monday. The woman remains in a serious condition in Beaumont Hospital. The driver of the car involved in the incident was not injured.

Appeal For Witnesses To Serious Road Accident
Gardaí in Carlow have appealed for witnesses to a serious road traffic accident on the M9 motorway on Friday 03 July. A truck driver, aged in his early 40s, remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital after he was struck by a car. It is understood that the man was exiting the cab of his truck when he was struck.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Serious Road Accident
