Three Young Males Killed In Separate Crashes
Ireland's roads have been a theatre of tragedy for three young men this weekend, after a string of fatalities.
In the most recent incident, a man aged 27 was fatally injured when the SUV and trailer he was driving crashed at Shangort, Partry, Castlebar. There was no other vehicle involved in the crash.
Gardai are investigating the fatal collision which occurred on a minor road, at 5.45am this morning.
The road at the scene is closed pending a forensic collision examination of the area.
Meanwhile, Gardai at Enniscorthy, Co Wexford are investigating a fatal road traffic collision between a bus and a pedestrian. The collision occurred on the Enniscorthy to Gorey road approximately one mile north of Enniscorthy.
The collision occurred at around 2.05am this morning. The pedestrian, a 22yr-old-male was pronounced dead at the scene. There were 20 passengers on the bus at the time of the collision. No one on the bus received injuries.
The road remains closed for a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place, the road northbound is closed between Blackstopp and Scarwelsch roundabout and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and use an alternative route.

Finally, Gardai at Clogherhead, Co Louth are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision, which occurred at Grangebellew, Drogheda, Co Louth on the 2nd October.
The collision occurred on the Drogheda to Ballymakenny Road, some five miles from Drogheda.
The single vehicle collision occurred at around 10.30pm on Saturday between the vehicle and a ditch. There were four occupants (two male and two females) in the car at the time of the collision; all four were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Shortly after midnight one of the males, aged 20, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other three persons' injuries are described as not being life threatening.
The road remains closed for a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place.

Gardaí in Ballynacargy are seeking help over what is now a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision. It occurred at Balroe, shortly after 6.00am on Saturday, 8th August.
