Description Of Dempsey Office Vandal Released
A description of the man who vandalised the office of Transport Minister Noel Dempsey earlier this week has been released by Gardaí.
Gardaí investigating the attack on the Minster's constituency office in Trim, Co Meath said they believed the attack was carried out by a lone male at about 3.24am.
The man had sprayed the word "Tratiors" [sic] on the office's edifice.
Gardaí said this morning that the man was wearing a dark jacket, jeans and white trainers and asked anyone with any information to contact them at 046-9431222.
A number of windows were also smashed during the incident.
A spokeswoman for the minister said: “This is a local office for local people and Minister Dempsey will continue to serve local people undeterred.”
“This was an attack on the decent local people who have loyally supported him over the years. The gardaí are investigating this act of vandalism.”
Garda technical experts said the have conducted an examination of the scene.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Four Charged In Connection With Post Office Robbery
Four people have appeared in court charged in connection with a post office robbery in Clogherhead, Co Louth. Three men, one armed with a firearm, entered a post office and threatened staff on 03 May. The suspects fled the scene with a large amount of cash.

Cocaine And Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Cocaine and cannabis herb worth an estimated €34,000 has been seized in Moone, Co Kildare. As part of a planned search of a premises at Lower Belan, garda uncovered €14,000 worth of cocaine and €20,000 worth of cannabis, shortly before midnight on Sunday, 12 June.
