Police Hunt Black BMW In Robbery Probe

The Irish Republic's police are looking for a car that is suspected of being used in an early morning robbery today.

Gardaí at Ballinasloe, Co Galway are appealing for information regarding a black BMW 645 Series convertible, with possible registration 07 MO (number unknown), which was involved in a robbery which occurred at a filling Station on the Athlone Road at approx. 5.10am on Thursday, 10th of February.

The robbery occurred when a number of armed and masked males entered the premises and proceeded to threaten staff and customers.

They consequently made their escape with an amount of cash. No one was injured in the incident and the men then made their escape in the vehicle in the direction of the old Dublin Road.

Also yesterday, one man and a teenage girl were arrested following a number of searches in the Inchicore area of Dublin.

Two houses were searched during a Gardaí operation and a quantity of cocaine and a firearm and ammunition were recovered.

In one of the houses Gardaí discovered cocaine estimated to be valued at €20,000 and seized an automatic pistol and number of rounds of ammunition.

A man in his late teens was arrested at the scene and in a second house Gardaí seized cocaine estimated to be valued €10,000 where a female in her teens was also arrested.

Garda Granted More Time To Question Limerick MC Murder Suspects
