Missing Children Safe In North
Four children who have been missing from their home in Ardee since Thursday have been found.
The children, ranging in age from one to 12, are safe and well while a 30-year-old man and a woman have been arrested.
It is understood the children were found by the PSNI in Newcastle, Co Down at around 1pm on Sunday.
A major police operation was launched to find the children who were believed to have been in the company of 30-year-old man.
Interpol as well as gardaí, the PSNI and police in Britain were involved in the search.
Chloe, Jessica, Jon and Megan were located safe and well in the seaside town on Sunday afternoon.
The four Eaton children, aged 12, ten, five and one, had disappeared from their Co Louth home with a man on Thursday, while their mother was in hospital.
"We would like to thank the public for their assistance with the appeal", a PSNI spokeswoman said.
"Police will continue to work with their colleagues in An Garda Siochana."

Telecoms giant Vodaphone has announced a five-year partnership with the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC). The partnership aims to help keep children safe. Vodaphone Ireland Foundation will provide the charity with €2 million in direct funding over five years.

IPU Warns Parents Not To Give Children Under 12 Codeine-Containing Medicines
The Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) is warning parents not to treat children below 12 years old with codeine-containing medicines for coughs and colds because of the risk of serious side-effects. In addition, the use of codeine for coughs and colds is not recommended in adolescents between 12 and 18 years who already have problems with their breathing.

Ministers from the north and south have agreed that paediatric heart surgery in Ireland will be focused in a single surgical centre in Dublin. The decision brings an end to the uncertainty of children's heart operations in the north, with Northern Ireland's Health Minister, Jim Wells, confirming the service would end in Belfast.

A former Christian Brother found guilty of sexually abusing three teenage students in the deaf school where he worked has been sentenced to 12 years, with the last three suspended. Each of John McCabe’s victims waived their right to anonymity so that their abuser could be named in the media.
