Descriptions Released Of Gang Attackers
The descriptions of a gang who attacked a man walking through Dublin on Sunday night have been released.
The attack happened between 3.30am and 4am, during which a man walking with three friends on College Green, Dublin 2 was attacked by a group of up to nine other males.
The injured man was knocked to the ground where he received a number blows to the head and neck, he was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital.
The injured man sustained injuries to his neck, a broken nose and bruising to his face. He has since been released from hospital.
Investigating Gardai have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward, and are looking for a female who administered first aid to the injured man at the scene.
Officers also released detailed descriptions of three of the men. The first individual is 6’2”, 20 to 22-years-old, of medium build, with brown short curly/wavy hair. He was wearing a green or brown waist length jacket with blue jeans and black runners.
Another of the attackers was 5’6” to 5’8”, 20 to 22 years, again of medium build with black hair and a black moustache. The man wore a few days growth of a beard, a navy three quarter length zipped jacket, green stripped check shirt and blue ripped jeans.
The last man is described as 5’8” to 5’9”, 20 to 21 years with brown curly hair, of medium build, and wearing a white long sleeved top with the wording or partial wording “Eagle Street” in blue writing with dark jeans.

Gardai in County Clare are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 48-year-old woman. Evelyn Vaughan has been missing from Shannon Park in Ennis since Tuesday morning. She is described as being 5’ 2’’ with short blonde hair. She is believed to be wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, red shoes and glasses.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
