Body Found On Beach Identified
Gardai at Ennistymon are appealing for witnesses and information following the discovery of a woman's body on a beach in Co Clare.
The deceased has been named by investigating Gardai as 43-year-old Deirdre McCarthy of Turlough House, Ballyvaughan.
Ms McCarthy was last seen at her home on Sunday 27th March and failed to turn up for work the following morning.
Her body washed up on Fanore Strand and the alarm was raised by a passer-by.
A post mortem examination is being carried out and Gardai are awaiting the results. From the investigation so far it is known that Deirdre McCarthy died under suspicious circumstances.
Gardai are in particular appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or movements at or in the vicinity of Turlough House, or on the roads in and out of Ballyvaughan, Lisdoonvarna, or Kilfanora, between 11.30pm on Sunday 27 March and 7am on Monday 28 March. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ennistymon Garda Station.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Pensioner Dies In House Fire
A man, 74, has died in a house fire in Rathcormac, County Cork. It is unclear how the fire began, however gardai say they are not treating it as suspicious. Fire crews arrived at the scene after they were alerted at approximately 7.45pm on Sunday evening.

Body Find Investigated
Gardaí at Rathfarnham are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a male in his early 40s at a house on Edmundstown Road. The grim discovery was made this morning at approximately 10am (Friday 20 March). Gardai were at the scene this afternoon and the state pathologist has been notified.

Investigation Launched After Woman's Body Found
Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a house in Dublin. The body of the 43-year-old was found in a house in Rathgar Road in Rathmines just before midnight on Wednesday. A forensic examination is being carried out and the body remains at the scene.

Dublin Teenager Found 'Safe And Well'
A teenager who went missing from Dublin has been found "safe and well". Sean Costello, 15, went missing from Ballymun just after midnight on Sunday, 31 July. Gardai launched an appeal as they were concerned for his welfare. However, they have confirmed he has been found "safe and well". Gardai also thanked the public for their assistance.
