Navy Joins Missing Fishermen Search
The search for two fishermen, missing off the east coast, is continuing with aid from the Navy.
26-year-old Ronan Browne and 41-year-old David Gilsenan, from the Skerries area, failed to return to Skerries Harbour after a lobster fishing trip on Friday.
Naval patrol vessel Le Emer is co-ordinating the search in the Irish sea.
Navy divers joined garda divers, the Coast Guard, volunteer lifeboat crews, and local fishing vessels yesterday.
In the last five days local trawlermen have been scanning sea area from Howth to Carlingford for the missing men.
On Sunday morning small items of clothing belonging to the men were found at Braymore point.
A Coast Guard unit from Newcastle, Co Down, is also due to join in the search along the eastern Northern Ireland coastline.
Both men were experienced fishermen and qualified marine engineers.

Bodies Of Missing Fishermen Recovered
Local divers found the bodies of two missing fishermen near Spanish Point in Co Clare shortly before lunchtime. A search for the men had been underway since their fishing boat, the Lady Eileen, failed to return to port at Quilty yesterday afternoon.

Major Search Operation Ongoing For Missing Jet-Skier
A major search operation is ongoing on Lough Ree in the Midlands after a woman went missing while jet-sking. The operation was launched on Sunday evening after a woman failed to return to shore at the lake, which borders Westmeath and Longford. Irish Coast Guard Helicopter, RNLI crews, civil defence and sub-aqua clubs are involved in the operation.

Search Launched For Missing Fishermen Off Co Wexford Coast
A search is underway off the south Wexford coast for a fishermen missing from his boat. According to reports the alarm as raised at around 12:30 on Monday when a boat was found near the Great Saltee Island with nobody on board. It is understood that the missing fisherman had gone out lobster fishing this morning.

Search Continues For Missing Diver
A search for a diver missing off the west coast of Cork has recommenced. The man has been missing from yesterday evening. Three men had been diving at a site approximately 12 miles south of Baltimore and one man did not return to the surface. The three men who were diving are believed to be German.

Lough Erne Tragedy As Teen Dies
There has been a second water-based tragedy in the North this weekend with police divers recovering the body of a man from Lough Erne in County Fermanagh in the early hours of Monday morning. The recovery followed reports that a 19-year-old had gone missing while swimming with friends near Castlearchdale Caravan Park.
