An Post Worker's Family Held Hostage

The incident took place last night around 9.30pm, when a gang of four armed men entered a house in Co Kildare.

The family of six were held overnight.

The father, an postal staff member, was made to take out money from the GPO in Dublin city centre this morning.

However, no money was handed over to the gang and the family were released unharmed.
