Renewed Appeal Over Kildare Kidnap
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information in relation to an abduction and false imprisonment in Kildare.
At 9.30pm on the 4th April 2011, a number of armed men entered a private residence in Fennore, Co Kildare.
The wife of an official at An Post was taken from her home around 11pm, while the family, including two children, were held captive.
On the morning of the 5th April the An Post official was given instructions to drive to the GPO on O Connell St. A demand was made that the An Post official obtain a sum of money from the institution and await instructions.
During the course of the morning, Gardaí became aware of the incident and a comprehensive response team was put in place involving both local and national units.
Just after 9.15 am on the 5th April 2011 the woman released herself and contact was made with the Gardai. She was physically uninjured.
Persons with information are asked to contact Newbridge Garda Station.

Gardai Continue Search For Missing Man
Gardaí are continuing their search for a missing 50-year-old man. Abraham Donovan has been missing from his home on Lower Buckingham Street in Dublin since 18th April 2011. He is described as being 6 foot tall and approximately 16 stone in weight. He has short brown hair and was last seen wearing a navy jacket.

Appeal Launched Over Fatal Fire In Cork City
Gardai at Blackrock investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal fire at a house in Cork City have appealed to the public for their assistance. The fire started at a house in Nutley Avenue, Mahon, in Cork City. They are interested in talking to a number of possible witnesses who may be able to assist with the investigation.

Cannabis Factory Uncovered In Tipperary
Gardaí have uncovered in excess of 1,500 cannabis plants as well as a quantity of cannabis herb in Tipperary. As the result of an ongoing operation targeting the cultivation of cannabis plants in the Tipperary Division Gardaí at Borrisokane searched a business premises on Main Street in the early hours of Saturday 9th April 2011.

Status Yellow Rainfall Warning Issued Across 11 Counties
Met Éireann have issued a Status Yellow weather warning for rain across 11 counties. The warning, which came into effect at 7am this morning, is in place for Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan. The warning will remain in place until 6am tomorrow, when it will be reviewed.

Gardaí are appealing for information to trace the whereabouts of 16-year-old Nathan Mulligan. Nathan has been missing from Athy, County Kildare, since Tuesday 21 July 2015. Nathan is described as being 5'10", of athletic build with brown eyes and black hair which is shaved at the sides.
