Queen And PM Visit Government Buildings
As part of her four day visit to Ireland, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has visited Government Buildings this morning where she met with the Taoiseach Enda Kenny and members of the Irish Government.
Queen Elizabeth will then continue to the Irish War Memorial Garden in Islandbridge where she will lay a wreath. This will be attended by Brian Hayes, the Minister of State with special responsibility for the Office of Public Works.
Her Majesty will then visit Croke Park stadium where she will meet with Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) members. This will be attended by Minister for Arts, Heritage & Gaeltacht Affairs Jimmy Deenihan.
Later this evening the Queen will attend a State dinner hosted by President Mary McAleese at Dublin Castle and attended by Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
This afternoon the British Prime Minister David Cameron will also visit Government Buildings and meet with Taoiseach Enda Kenny.

The latest Central Statistics Office (CSO) figures released today show that the number of overseas visits to Ireland for the 1st quarter of 2017 was 1.796 million, which was an increase of 0.6% compared to the same quarter in 2016.
