Taoiseach Congratulates Leinster's Rugby Win
The Taoiseach has congratulated Leinster on their magnificent rugby victory against Northampton in Saturday's Heineken Cup.
Enda Kenny said: “The manner of their second half comeback was truly inspirational and shows what people can do when they harness their potential and have belief in their ability.”
Jonathan Sexton was named man of the match after Leinster overturned a half-time deficit of 22-6 to win 33-22.

Fianna Fáil Commit To New Cyclist Safety Legislation
Fianna Fáil has committed to bringing forward legislation aimed at improving road safety for cyclists. Spokesperson on Transport, Tourism and Sport Robert Troy, Deputy Troy made the commitment after attending the Stop Killing Cyclists vigil which was held outside Leinster House yesterday evening.

Bord na Móna Launch Europe's Largest Wind Farm Project
Europe's largest onshore wind farm is to be developed in Ireland, Bord na Móna have announced. The €1bn project will be based on peatland and cutaway bogs in the Offaly and North Leinster area. Bord na Móna launched the project at a new site near Templetuohy in Co Tipperary The wind farm is expected to provide wind energy to the export market.

A protest is underway outside Leinster House by about 30 representatives of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors and the Garda Representative Association in an ongoing dispute over cuts in earnings under the extension of the Croke Park Agreement.

GAA officials in Galway have failed in an attempt to buy back a 2012 Leinster Championship medal after it was put up for sale on eBay. The medal had been presented to one of the Galway panel after their win over Kilkenny last July.

Carers Protest Respite Care Grant Cut
More than 300 full-time carers and supporters gathered outside Leinster House to demand the restoration of the Respite Care Grant, following a cut made as part of the Budget. Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton has insisted the reduction was necessary.
