Renewed Appeal Over Phoenix Park Death
Exactly one year on from the discovery of a body in Phoenix Park, Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information.
The body of Eugenia Bratis, a Romanian National, was discovered by two members of the public who were walking in a wooded area just off Military Road at 3.30pm on the 5th August 2009.
To date only one of these men has come forward to assist investigating Gardaí. The 2nd witness is described as being 5’7” to 5’ 8”, bald and of average build, this man is believed to be in his late 60’s or early 70’s.
Two people have been arrested in connection with this investigation and to date the suspect has yet to be identified. Gardaí have carried out an extensive investigation and in excess of 1000 lines of enquiry have been explored.
A second male witness, who discovered Eugenia’s body, is being asked to contact the incident room at Cabra.
Members of the Roma and Romanian Community who knew Eugenia or any person who may have information is asked to contact Gardaí.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Investigation Launched After Body Found In Carlow
The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

Gardaí said today that the two men were arrested on the North Circular Road and are currently detained at Finglas and Cabra Garda Stations under section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act. One man is 36 the other is 18-years-old.

Four Girls In Hospital After Aerosol Explosion
Garda are investigating the circumstances surrounding four girls ending up in hospital after an aerosol exploded in a house in Drogheda on Sunday. The girls are being treated in hospital, two in Crumlin's children's hospital and two in Tallaght, following the incident. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.
