Army Makes Safe Device In Dublin
An Irish Army bomb disposal team made safe an improved explosive device found in Finglas, Dublin last night.
The device was found in Dunsink Lane around 11.25pm. The bomb disposal team was called by the gardaí and the scene was declared safe at 12.25am.
The remains of the device were removed from the scene and will be given over the gardaí for a further examination.
This was the 156th time that bomb disposal teams had been called out this year, and this was the 27th viable device that they had made safe.

An investigation has been launched after army bomb disposal experts carried out a controlled explosion on a device in Co Carlow. The suspect explosive device was discovered in Kilmeaney on Thursday afternoon, 16 November. It has been described as a "complex viable improvised explosive device". The scene was declared safe at 6pm.

Residents Evacuated After Viable Device Found In Dublin
Residents had to be evacuated from their homes in Dublin after a suspected viable device was found. The suspect device was discovered in Blanchardstown at around 8pm on Saturday. Army Bomb Disposal experts made the device safe at the scene. Residents have returned to their homes and the scene was declared safe at 9pm.

An emergency cordon was established in the surrounding area and number of homes were evacuated. The Army Bomb Disposal Team arrived at the scene at 9.40am and site was declared safe at 11.
