Pedestrian, 85, Hit By Car
An 85-year-old man has been hit by a car in Dublin on Tuesday morning.
Gardai in Blackrock said they are investigating the collision that occurred on November 22 at 10am on the N11, southbound at Stillorgan Park.
The elderly male pedestrian was crossing the road when he was in collision with a car.
Gardaí said the man has been removed from the scene to St Vincent's Hospital and is receiving treatment.
The N11 southbound at Stillorgan Park has been reduced to two lanes and delays are expected in the area as a forensic collision examination is taking place.
Gardai are appealing to any persons who may have witnessed this collision to contact Blackrock Garda Station on 01.6665200 or the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111.

Dunleer Crash Victims Named
The woman and son killed in County Louth yesterday after their car collided with a wall have been named. Leontina Covaci (35 years) and Ezacheal Covaci (9 years) of Rivervale Grove, Dunleer, Co. Louth, died at around 2.30pm along the old M1, south of Castlebellingham.

Gardai Appeal Over Blackrock Road Collision
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a traffic collision in Blackrock in County Dublin yesterday. At about 13:40 a six-year-old boy pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on Cross Avenue, Blackrock. He was taken by ambulance to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and then removed to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Two Dead In Separate Collisions
Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days. In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital.
