New Evidence In Bailey Appeal

New evidence regarding the extradition of Ian Bailey will go before the Supreme Court on Monday.

The former journalist is being sought for questioning over the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier in Cork in 1996.

Mr Bailey has always protested his innocence and made the demand when his lawyers received new evidence from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) office that there was no evidence against him.

It was also revealed that the garda investigation was "thoroughly flawed and prejudice".
