Arrests Made After Oil Laundering Plant Discovered
Two men have been arrested following the discovery of an oil laundering plant in County Louth last night.
One of the men from Dublin has been released, and the other, in his 30's from Northern Ireland is still being questioned.
Customs officers and gardai found 25,000 litres of the illegal fuel at a plant near Hackballscross.
The facility had the capacity to launder almost 12 million litres of fuel according to officials.
A significant amount of toxic waste was also found at the site.
