Female Teen Driver Killed In Galway
A teenage woman has died in Galway after a road traffic collision on Saturday.
Gardai at Mill St, Galway said they are investigating the circumstances of the fatal collision, which occurred at approximately 3.30am on the Seamus Quirke road, Galway city.
The three occupants of the car were taken to Galway University Hospital, where the driver a 19yr old female was pronounced dead.
The two other occupants a male, 21, and a female, 18, are being treated for their injuries at Galway University Hospital.
The road is closed to facilitate a Forensic collision examination and diversions are in place.
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact the Gardai in Mill Street Garda station on 091 538000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Teenager Killed As Car Flips In Galway
A teenager has been killed in a tragic crash in County Galway last night. The 16-year-old male was fatally injured when the car he was a front seat passenger in left the road. According to Gardai the impact led to the vehicle being overturned.

Gardai in Bailieboro investigating a fatal collision on the Tuesday in Cootehill have named the deceased as Nicola Roberts, 19-years-old, from Ballinagh, County Cavan. Gardai at Coothill are still investigating the fatal crash that occurred at approximately 10.30pm on Tuesday night on the R188 at Corravahan, Drung, Coothill, Cavan.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.
