Fatal Shooting In Finglas
An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a fatal shooting in the Finglas area of Dublin.
Gardai in Finglas said they are investigating the fatal shooting that occurred inside a public house on Barry Road, Finglas at approximately 1am on Wednesday.
During the incident, a lone gunman entered the public house and shot a male in his 30’s. The injured male was taken to Connolly Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The gunman then made his escape.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the services of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau have been requested.
Gardai said they are appealing for witnesses or to anyone with information or who can assist with the investigation, asking them to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01-6667500, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line or any Garda Station.

Man Dies Following Fatal Stabbing Incident In Dublin
A man has died following a fatal stabbing in Dublin. The incident happened at St Joseph's Park in Finglas in the early hours of this morning, 06 June. The 33-year-old victim died at the scene. An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is being detained at Finglas Garda Station. A post-mortem is to be carried out later today.

Detectives in Finglas have issued a description of a person they are looking for in relation to Saturday's fatal shooting incident at the junction of Barnamore Crescent and Saint Helena's Road, Finglas, Dublin 11. It happened at approximately 6.50pm with Daniel Gaynor shot in front of his two children at around 7pm.

Finglas Shooting Victims Were 'Set Up'
Gardaí in North Dublin say they have reason to believe that the two men shot in a Finglas petrol station were "set up". The victims, Mark Noonan, 23, from O'Devaney Gardens and Glenn Murphy, 20, from the Drumlea Estate were shot dead on the forecourt of the Tesco Petrol Station at Clearwater in Finglas on Tuesday night.
