Cork Plane Crash Report Reveals Problem With A Sensor

A report from the Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) has revealed last year's fatal plane crash at Cork Airport identified a problem with a sensor.

The crash, which claimed the lives of six people, found a "mismatch in the torque being delivered from each of the two engines".

Ten passengers and two crew were on board the Manx2 aircraft travelling from George Best Belfast City Airport.

The tests also discovered an anomaly was found in a PT sensor associated with the No. 2 engine.

The final report has not yet been released.
