Eleven Charged With Dublin Drug Offences

Eleven people will appear before Dublin District Court later today in connection with the sale and supply of drugs in Kilbarrack.

They were arrested as a result of an ongoing Garda operation targeting the trade of heroin and cocaine in Dublin's northside.

Three juveniles have also been charged in connection with the sale and supply of a controlled substance as part of the operation.

Gardaí have seized a quantity of Zopiclone tablets, worth an estimated street value of €42,000, in Dublin. The seizure was made at a house off Rutland Street on Tuesday morning. It was part of an ongoing operation into the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the North inner city of Dublin. No arrests were made during the search.

Two Arrested In Connection With Dublin Drug Supply
Two men have been arrested in Dublin as part of a gardaí investigation into the supply of drugs in the city. Gardaí said the men, from Eastern Europe, were arrested by the Ballymun Drugs Unit in an underground car park on Tuesday night. It is understood the drugs, worth an estimated €500,000, were seized during the operation.

Two Men Charged In Connection With Dublin Tiger Kidnapping
Two men have appeared in court in relation to a tiger kidnapping incident last year in Co Dublin. The suspects have been charged with the abduction of three women from their Malahide home on Friday, 25 September 2015. During the incident, a post mistress was taken from her home and held captive overnight.

Teenager Charged In Connection With Dublin Assault
A teenager has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Dublin. The incident occurred between 1:01am and 1:10am in Dublin 2 on Monday, 02 May, gardaí have said. An altercation occurred between a 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old male at the junction of Dame Lane and Trinity Street.

Teenager Charged In Connection With Dublin Stabbing
A 17-year-old youth charged this morning with the fatal stabbing of another teenager in Dublin last May has been remanded in custody at Dublin Children's Court. The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, was charged with the death of Sean Nolan, 18, from Griffith Court in Fairview.
