Man Killed In Road Accident In Co Meath

A 31-year-old man has been killed in a road accident in Kilmore, Co Meath.

The two car crash happened on the M4 westbound at approximately 1.25am.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was taken to Naas General Hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Man Dies In Paragliding Accident In Co Meath
A 45-year-old man has died in a paragliding accident on Co Meath. The incident happened shortly after 6pm on Saturday, 04 June. It is believed the paraglider he was using crashed into the sea near the Gormanston army camp. An investigation has been launched by the Air Accident Investigation Unit.

Man Dies In Co Meath Road Accident
Gardaí in Co Meath have reported the death of a 25-year-old man in a road accident in the early hours of Monday morning. The man died in hospital following a single-vehicle collision at about 12:30am at Dunheeda, on the main Kingscourt to Drumconrath road.

Man Injured in Co Meath Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in County Meath. The attack happened at a house in Dowth, at approximately 9.45pm on Sunday. The victim was shot a number of times in the upper body and his leg. He is currently being treated at Our Lady of Lordes Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
