Post Office In Dublin Burgled
Gardaí in Bridewell are appealing to the public for information in relation to a burglary which occurred at the post office on Upper Ormond Quay, Dublin 7 between the hours of 8am – 9.30am this morning 1st June 2012.
Gardaí are interested in speaking to anyone who may have observed two men acting suspiciously wearing high-visibility jackets outside the old Ormond Hotel, which is curreently derelict, at approximately 8am this morning, and two men wearing motorcycle leathers in the same area at approximately 9.20am this morning.
It is believed the two men left the scene on one or two motorbikes in the direction of Smithfield Markets.
No firearm or violence was used during the incident and no persons were injured. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

Appeal For Witnesses To Early Morning Shooting In Dublin
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a shooting in Dublin this morning. According to garda a man was shot just after 9am on Thursday morning on Clonard Street. The victim has been taken to hospital but no details of his condition have been released. The scene of the shooting has been sealed off pending a technical examination.

Three Arrested Over Sligo Cannabis Find
Gardaí in Sligo uncovered a significant amount of Cannabis during a search of a house in County Sligo over the weekend. 250 cannabis plants and a quantity of cannabis herb were discovered in Clonloo at around midday on Saturday 09 March. The seized drugs are valued at over €200,000.

Man Killed In Co Galway Crash
A man has died in a single vehicle road crash in Co Galway in the early hours of Monday morning, RTÉ have reported. The 24-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving collided with a traffic island at around 2.30am at Knockdoe on the N17 Galway to Tuam road.

Man Arrested After Shots Fired At Property In Dublin
A man has been arrested after shots were fired at a property in Dublin on Friday morning. Three men are believed have targeted the house on Oranmore Road in Ballyfermot at approximately 10am. A firearm was also recovered from the scene of the attack. The man is being detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station.

Woman Charged Over Fatal Fire In Cork
A woman has been charged in connection with a fatal fire in Mallow, Cork, in March, 2013. Two men died in a fire at an apartment at Granary Court on 13 March, 2014. The woman was arrested on Monday and brought to Mallow Garda Station where she was charged.
