Woman Arrested Over Serious Attack

A woman has been arrested over a serious attack which occurred outside a pub at St George's Quay, Dublin, last weekend.

The victim sustained serious facial injuries in the assault.

The 21-year-old who was arrested is currently being held at Pearse Street Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a knife attack in Cobh, Co Cork. According to reports, the woman and her teenage daughter were attacked at a house in Cooline Avenue on Tuesday morning. The daughter is understood to have received minor injuries in the incident and was released from hospital following treatment.

Woman Appears In Court Over Galway Death
A woman is due to appear before Waterford District Court this morning charged in connection with the death of a man in the city on Monday night. Joe O’Brien’s body was found at Scotch Marsh House apartment complex, Scotch Quay, Waterford. A post-mortem found he died from head injuries.

Man Injured In Dublin Attack
A man has been injured in a serious attack in Dublin. It happened in Kearn's Place at around 2am this morning. The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was slashed across the face. He is currently at St James's Hospital, where his injuries are being described as "superficial".
