Gardaí Renew Appeal For Hit And Run Collision
Gardaí in Kanturk investigating a fatal hit and run road traffic collision on Sunday morning 1st July, 2012 at Gneeveguilla, Co. Kerry, have named the man killed in the crash.
He was 42 year old Paudie O Leary of Leamyglissane, Gneeveguilla.
Gardai are renewing their appeal for witnesses to this collision or to any one who may have travelled the road from/to Killarney via Gneeveguilla or who can assist them with their investigation to contact Kanturk Garda Station on 029 - 20680, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí Investigate Pellet Gun Shooting In Cork Pub
An investigation is underway after a man suffered minor injuries in a shooting incident in a pub in North Cork on Sunday. According to gardaí a 35-year-old man was shot in the neck with a pellet gun at about 20:00. It is understood that a man entered the pub armed with the pellet, shot the man, and made off.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist was hit by a bus in south Dublin. According to gardaí, a 55-year-old woman was hit by a bus while cycling at about 21:40 on Burlington Road on Monday night. She is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.
