Missing Concert Girl Found Safe - Cause Of Death Of Two Men Still Unknown

A young Co Cork woman missing since the weekends Swedish House Mafia concert in the Phoenix Park has been found safe and well.

There was concern yesterday about the whereabouts of 19-year-old Aoife Finan from Cobh, Co Cork, who had been last seen at about 11.30pm on Saturday.

She was due to return to Cork by bus but failed to meet friends at the scheduled time. Her parents, Sinéad and Eric Finan, had issued a public appeal for assistance in tracing their daughter.

Friends and family had become increasingly fearful for her safety after a bag containing some of her possessions, including her mobile phone, was found in the Phoenix Park by an Order of Malta worker on Sunday.

The teenager had contacted friends on another phone on Saturday night to say she was lost.

Shortly before 6.30pm on Monday Miss Finan contacted her mother and told her she was on a bus to Cork from Dublin.

Meanwhile, toxicology reports are due on two young men who both collapsed and died a few hours after the concert.

20-year-old Lee Scanlon and Shane Brophy, 21, died in the hours following the concert which was marred by violence.

The cause of death in both cases is still unknown.
