Co Donegal Road Accident Claims Life
A man has died following a single vehicle road crash at Greencastle Road, Moville in Co Donegal, at approximately 4.25am on Thursday morning.
The man, who was in his mid-20s, was fatally injured when his car left the road and crashed into a telegraph pole. He was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital.
The road has been closed for an examination by Garda investigators. Local diversions are in place, and gardaí have warned that articulated lorries and heavy good vehicles will not have access between Moville and Greencastle until the road reopens.
Gardaí have called on witnesses to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074 — 9320540, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Man Dies In Co Cork Road Crash
Gardaí have reported that a 47-year-old man has died in a single vehicle road crash near Charleville, Co Cork. The crash happened at around 21:30 last night in Boulard. It is believed that the vehicle struck a tree before hitting a ditch. The victim was pronounced dead the scene. No other vehicles were involved.

Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.

Renewed Appeal Over Murder Of Taxi Driver
Gardaí have renewed an appeal for information on the murder of taxi driver Martin Mulligan. Mr Mulligan (53) was stabbed to death on 28 September following an altercation in Dundalk in Co Louth. It is believed the altercation began over an unpaid taxi fare.
