Ulster Bank Begins To Correct Charges

Ulster Bank has began to correct and reverse fees and charges to customers effected by the technical issues at the bank, which started on 19th June.

Earlier this week, the bank said it would announce details on how to address "out of pocket expenses".

In a statement today the bank said it will continue to discuss the details of these regulators and will provide further details to its customers as soon as possible.

Fraud is 'on the cards' this week with several hundred bank customers believed to have been hit by an online scam. It is believed the credit card details were accessed several months ago, but have only begun to use them in the past two days.

New Name For Northern Bank

Oireachtas Must Urgently Regulate 'Vulture Funds' - FF
The Oireachtas has been called to urgently regulate 'vulture funds'. Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Finance Michael McGrath, made the call following a statement from Ulster Bank CEO Gerry Mallon that the bank may sell off up to 7,000 mortgages. Deputy McGrath said: "The case for full regulation of these vulture funds is compelling.

CAI Urges Ulster Bank Customers To Complete Online Form
