Man Remains In Critical Condition After Robbery
A shop worker remains in a critical condition in hospital following an armed robbery in Dublin at the weekend.
A man in his 30s entered a Spar shop on James Street on Saturday night and threatened two members of staff with a syringe.
After a struggle, a man was arrested at the scene. He has been remanded in custody.
A man collapsed at the scene and was taken to St James's Hospital, where his condition remains critical.

A man, aged in his late 30s, remains in a critical condition in hospital after being shot several times in Dublin. The victim was shot near his home in Dún Emer Place in Lusk just before 10am on Tuesday, 05 July. He was treated at the scene and is now being treated at Beaumont Hospital, where his condition has been described as "critical".

A 36-year-old man remains in a critical condition following a shooting incident in Dublin. Gardaí are appealing for information after the 36-year-old victim was shot a number of times at around 9:35am at Dun Emer Place, Lusk on Tuesday, 05 July. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being pulled out of a canal in Dublin. The 23-year-old male fell into the canal at Portobello Harbour after Sunday's All-Ireland hurling final. He was pulled out of the water and taken to St James' Hospital where his condition has been described as critical.

Female Cyclist Injured In Road Collision Dies
A female cyclist seriously injured in a road crash in Tralee has died. Gayle McConkey from Castlewood Park was involved in a collision with a car on Thursday evening. She was taken to Kerry General Hospital where she remained in a critical condition, however she died from her injuries over the weekend.
