Man Charged With Murder Of Shay O'Byrne
A 29 year old man has been charged for the murder of Seamus (Shay) O'Byrne on 13th March 2009.
Eugene Cullen was extradited from Holland and charged last night at Tallaght Garda Station.
He has been remanded in custody after appearing at Dublin Crown Court this morning.
Shay, 27, was shot dead in front of his partner and son at Tymon Park North in Tallaght.

The funeral of former Irish Government Minister Séamus Brennan took place earlier this week in south Dublin. The service was attended by the Irish President, the former and present Taoiseach along with many members of the Houses of the Oireachtas. Mr Brennan died in the early hours of Wednesday morning following a year-long illnes.

On-Duty Firefighter Arrested On Suspicion Of Drink Driving
A fireman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving while on duty behind the wheel of a fire engine. The man was driving a fire truck on the Callan Road, Kilkenny over the weekend and approached a checkpoint. It is believed he was returning from an emergency incident and failed a breath test. He was issued a fixed charged penalty notice.

A survey by the National Consumer Council (NCC) has shown the disparity between the Republic's prices and that of the North is steadily growing, prompting shoppers to cross the border for their groceries.

Man Charged Following Robbery In Tallaght
A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with a robbery at a service station in Cookstown, Tallaght. The incident happened at a premises on the Belgard Road just before 8.30pm on Sunday. A man, armed with a syringe, entered the service station and threatened staff before fleeing the scene with a small sum of cash.

Missing Tallaght Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A man who had been missing from the Tallaght area has been found 'safe and well', Garda have reported. 30-year-old John Rodgers was reported missing on 11 July. However, Garda said John has now been found and thanked the public for their assistance.
