Quinn Family 'Forced' To Withdraw Solicitors

The High Court has given permission for the lawyers of bankrupt businessman Seán Quinn to bring an application to stop representing the family.

It is due to be heard on Monday.

In a statement the Quinn family said that due to the financial position they had been forced into by the Anglo Irish Bank, they had been forced to instruct their solicitors to withdraw representing them.

Earlier this year a judge found Mr Quinn, his son Sean Jr and nephew Peter Darragh, to be in contempt of court.

Lawyers have applied to continue to represent Seán Quinn Jnr in his appeal.
