FF Accuses Tánaiste Of Resorting To 'Old Party Tricks'
The Tánaiste Éamon Gilmore has once again resorted to his favourite party trick of kicking Fianna Fáil instead of addressing the real concerns of patients and their families in the face of savage health cuts.
Deputy Kelleher commented: "The Tánaiste's comments today will provide absolutely no comfort to the thousands of high dependency patients who will have their homecare supports cut as a result of this Government's decisions.
"When Éamon Gilmore resorts to his favourite party trick of kicking Fianna Fáil, we know he has run out of road. This tactic may have got him into Government but he is in power now and these are his decisions.
"What people really want to know is, what will Labour"s response be to the drastic cutbacks in home care supports for older and disabled patients? Will they brief their friends in the media behind closed doors, or will they take action to stop these cuts?"

McDonald Rejects Proposals For 'Excessive' Water Use Charge
Sinn Féin Vice President, Mary Lou McDonald, has rejected proposals by the Expert Commission to charge customers for 'excessive' waste usage. Speaking in the Dáil during Leaders' Questions today, 30 November, Teachta McDonald said imposing a levy would "inevitably lead to the introduction of across the board water charges in the future".

Fianna Fáil Councillor Dies At Donegal Rally
Tributes have been paid to Donegal Fianna Fáil Councillor Manus Kelly who died while competing at the Donegal International Rally. The motor racing champion, who had won the event for the last three years, was killed after his Hyundai i20 R5 left the road on stage 15 of Sunday's race.

Over 500 patients are either on trolleys in hospital emergency departments or on wards waiting for beds, according to new figures. Data collected by the Irish Nurses and Midwives' Organisation (INMO) revealed there are a total of 544 patients waiting.

Temple Street Restrictions Extended
Temple Street Children's Hospital has extended a visiting restriction "until further notice". On Monday the hospital said it would only allow parents and guardians to visit patients, due to an increase in the number of cases of a highly contagious vomiting bug.
