Check Points In Place After Murder Of Alan Ryan
A number of armed check points have been put in place in relation to the murder of a man in Dublin yesterday.
Gardai are concerned there could be retaliation after Alan Ryan, 32, was killed on Grange Lodge Avenue, Clongriffin.
Ryan had previously served jail terms for IRA activities and gun possession.
Gardai believe he was recently involved with a Real IRA group and are continuing to investigate his murder.

Man Arrested In Connection With Alan Ryan Murder
A man in his 20s has been arrested outside Mountjoy Prison by garda investigating the murder of Real IRA boss Alan Ryan. The man was detained on Wednesday on Dublin's North Circular Road as he walked out of jail after completing a sentence. He was taken to Coolock garda station where he can be held without charge for up to seven days.

Ryan Murder Suspect Linked To Heroin Find
A prime suspect for the murder of Real IRA boss Alan Ryan has been linked to the seizure of heroin with a potential street value of more than €5m. The drugs was uncovered at a derelict house in Garryross, outside Virginia, Co Cavan alongside an Uzi sub-machine gun and a handful of bullets.

Terrorist Spy Plot Foiled
A terrorist plot to intimidate and harass members of the Special Branch and their families has been foiled following the discovery of spy equipment in a hotel over looking Garda HQ. Officers believe the Real IRA, whose leader Alan Ryan was murdered earlier this month, were behind the spy plan.
